As as member of the Men’s Fellowship at CrossPoint Church he was always willing to share his amazing experiences and thoughts - in his very humble way. Joe also never missed an opportunity to cheerfully greet people. He will be missed. Our prayers and condolences for his family. Art and Lucy Anton

MY HEART IS BROKEN AGAIN. UNCLE JOE WAS A WONDERFUL MAN, KIND, LOVING AND VERY GIVING. HE WAS A FAMILY MAN. AUNT HEATHER & HIS CHILDREN ALWAYS CAME FIRST. UNCLE JOE ALWAYS STOOD UP FOR WHAT WAS RIGHT, HE WOULD NEVER BACK DOWN WHEN SOMEONE DISAGREED WITH HIM. HE LOVED HIS COUNTRY AND WHAT IT STOOD FOR. I WILL ALWAYS HAVE WONDERFUL MEMORIES OF UNCLE JOE. ANYTIME THE FAMILY GOT TOGETHER THEIR WAS ALWAYS FOOD, FUN & LAUGHTER. UNCLE JOE LOVED ALL HIS FAMILY, NIECES AND NEPHEWS. AS A CHILD HE TOOK US SLEIGH RIDING TO CROW HILL, WHAT A BLAST. HE LOVED GIVING RIDES TO US KIDS ON THE PONY, "PRINCE", UNCLE JOE HAD US AS THROW A QUARTER ACCROSS THE DELAWARE JUST BECAUSE GEORGE WASHINGTON DID IT, SO WE WERE TOLD. UNCLE JOE WAS ALWAYS INTO SOMETHING. I REMEBER WE HELPED HIS OUT AT THE CHURCH RUMMAGE SALE, GRANDMOM, RICKY, BUDDY & I MANY YEARS AGO. GRANDMOM WAS THE BANKER & HE TOLD US KIDS EVERYTHING MUST GO, WE ARE NOT PACKING ANYTHING UP.. TOWARDS THE END A WOMEN CAME UP AND SPOKE TO UNCLE JOE, SHE HAD SEVERAL GRANDKIDS THAT LIVED WITH HER & NOT MUCH MONEY. UNCLE JOE SAID DON'T WORRY WE WILL HELP YOU OUT. IN THE END SHE HAD THREE BAGS FILLED WITH CLOTHING AND UNCLE JOE ONLY CHARGED HER A DOLLAR FOR EVERYTHING, THE WOMEN BROKE DOWN IN TEARS, THANKING HIM. HE HAD A HEART OF GOLD. WHEN MY MOM WAS SICK WITH CANCER UNCLE JOE CAME OVER EVER WEEK TO SEE HER. UNCLE JOE WAS HER FAVORITE BROTHER IN-LAW. SHE THOUGHT THE WORLD OF HIM. SO WHEN I WAS BORN SHE MADE MY MIDDLE NAME (JO) HE WAS SO PROUD OF THAT. WHEN MY DAD PASSED AWAY UNCLE JOE WAS THEIR TO HELP US OUT. PLANNING &SUPPORTING US THROUGH ALL THIS. WHAT A STRONG MAN HE WAS. I COULD GO ON FOREVER WITH ALL THE MEMORIES I HAVE. I LOVED UNCLE JOE, HE WAS ONE IN A MILLION. HE IS IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS.. I WILL NEVER FORGET HIS KINDNESS & LOVE FOR NOT ONLY HIS FAMILY BUT FOR EVERYONE. MAY YOU REST IN PEACE , LOVE FOREVER & EVER.
