I just found out about this and stunned. Dan is a childhood friend, always laughing and a BEAMING smile. My deepest condolences and prayers to all the family. GOD BLESS!!!

I went to H.S. with Danny at St. Joes. So sorry to have just heard about this -- I remember him as the guy always with a smile and always laid back. Wishing only the best for his family and friends!

I have a “heavy heart” in writing this. Danny and I have been friends for 50 years. We celebrated our birthdays together, in our early childhood. Danny, was a great family man! He truly was the link in bringing all of his family and friends together.

Danny, was a very generous person and a giving friend. He offered me his ticket to see Pope John Paul II, while we attended St Joseph’s in 1979.

I’m so glad that he was able to attend that mass!

I will miss Danny very much! We all miss people that we love!

Uncle Dan was the epitome of the fun Uncle. There was never a dull moment, as he always made sure everyone around him was laughing and having a good time. I count myself lucky to have called one of the best men to walk this Earth, my Uncle. The memories and pure joy that he spread will forever live on in my heart, as well as the many people my Uncle Dan held near and dear to his heart. I love you, Uncle Dan. Rest in Peace.

I was very saddened to learn of this tragic news. Danny’s father and my father were childhood friends. As children Danny and I shared many fun times together. My deepest condolences to his wife and children, brother Robert and mother Joyce. I went to St Joseph by the Sea high school with Dan. He was always more of the quiet observer of the bunch. Many happy high school memories and jersey shore outings/ bar outings. He was a kind soul. I am so sad to hear of his passing. He was so young. May he Rest In Peace and his light live on in his loving family.

Uncle Dan was a great man that knew how to put a smile on anyone’s face. I will always remember him for the little things. You will be missed Uncle Dan, love you forever.

My uncle was truly an amazing man. I am in shock. He was A great husband, father and friend. He will be deeply missed...I will forever hold the memory of his soul in my heart. I hope he is enjoying the other side and healed. I love him so much and know that he is watching over us all xo

I love my uncle Dan so much, I remember every time my cousins would come down from NJ it would always be a blast, I would always look forward to their trip, especially going to a local firework store and buying enough to last the whole night! He was a great uncle and a very positive figure in my life. I will always remember him with every decision I make throughout life because I know he is watching over us. GOD BLESS!!!!
