Myself and Ida B Roe, lived across the street, George came around one day running for some office, he was asked to place a light pole by our properties and if WE voted for him he would "work on it"! He won, worked on the light and we got our light! George was a cousin to my Mom and he was a great servant to the People of Howell. Love and Hugs

Grandpa George, you will be forever missed. You were our bestfriend, and we were so glad you taugh as all that you did. We will take that with us as we grow older. We love you. My thoughts and Prayers go to Georgie's family, I was sorry to hear of his passing. He was a cousin once removed! Hugs. I cannot make the funeral as I live in Montana and am in recovery for a hip replacement!
