Condolences
As we all seem to do from time to time a "character" comes to mind who we worked with. Nancy was talked about recently in the fondest terms. We worked together at Drexel Burnham in the mid 1970's. She was colorful and exciting to work with. There always could be counted upon a laugh with Nancy. To her family and friends I am sure she is missed greatly. She is truly remembered, one of those memorable kind people who we are lucky to have crossed paths.

My sincere condolences to Janet Roldan and the entire family. Take comfort in knowing your mother is at rest in the arms of the Lord.
Although I did not have the pleasure of knowing Ms. Carvelli, Janet always spoke about her mother with a lot of love. My condolences to the entire family.
To my wonderful mother-in-law who I highly respect and love so much. I will always keep you in my daily thoughts and prayers and honor you. We had the best of times, laughed so much, and those memories I will keep close to my heart. I will miss watching the JETS together with you or us calling each other to give updates, going to boardwalk, teaching me your recipes, or just hanging around together all the time. You truly were like a mother to me, and i am forever grateful. I am so blessed to have been part of your life. Until we meet again....I love you, Al - or as you would said “My Ali Boy”.
I knew Nancy through her visits to the senior center and from the many times that I met her at the Villages. Such a lovely lady!
Rest in Peace!

I will always remember Nancy and her endearing qualities, she was candid and honest. Her laughter was contagious. She lived life to the fullest and enjoyed the finest things life had to offer. As she travels to meet her maker, she leaves behind her legacy, her beautiful family, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
My condolences to the entire family.
Praying for your healing, comfort, strength and peace during this painful time. Please know that you're in my thoughts and prayers. ...Rest In Peace Nancy, you will be missed. Verónica
I met Nancy 9 years ago when I did the shopping bus for the villages, the 1st day I did the shopping bus I was very nervous. When Nancy came on the bus for the 1st time I knew right then and there what a charming and beautiful person she was just the way she carried herself. From that very first day she became a very special person in my life, someone that I can confide in no matter what was going on in my life. There were many times that I would tell my wife that I was going to stop by Nancy's to just say hi and to see how she was doing, and my wife would say, give me a kiss goodnight because she knew once I saw Nancy I wouldn't be back for hours because once I sat down with her she loved to talk and tell so many stories of her life that was so fascinating to me. We always talked about how we could of wrote a book about all are trips on the shopping bus, with as she called, the old lady's of the villages. There were so many times that she could make you laugh with the things she would say. She had the biggest heart of any woman I ever knew. She was always so proud to talk about her daughter Janet, and I always would say to her the apple don't fall to far from the tree and you would see the biggest smile and 2 second later she would be crying, just so proud. Never heard the name Al so many times in my life, boy did she love her son-in-law Al. I thought this guy could walk on water or as she would say, he is a saint. Nancy was like a mother to me and I am always going to miss the close relationship I had with her. Rest in peace Nancy and you will always be in my heart. Rich C.

Nancy taught me to try to live life to the fullest and to always do what is right. She always spoke about the love she had for her family and how that was the most important thing to her. Nancy always made me laugh. She was one of a kind and she lit up a room. I will always cherish the time I spent with her and I’m lucky to have known her. My deepest condolences to all of her family and loved ones.
Even though I only knew Nancy for a short period of time it was enough for her to make an impact on me. The first time I met her she made me feel so comfortable and we talked like we knew each other for years. But the time that stands out the most for me was at Kristen’s baby shower. She sits next to me and says,I want to sit next to the young people..LOL and she is giving me these compliments and making these faces..I couldn’t stop laughing.I told myself I can’t wait till the next time she goes to Janet and Al’s house, I’m going to set up my chair next to hers outside in the front yard and we are going to talk about life and crack some jokes. Its a shame it’s not going to happen. but I’m really glad I got to meet her. She is a beautiful person.. May God bless her soul.
There will never be another woman quite like Momma Nancy as I lovingly called her. She was caring, loving, kind, selfless and just a pleasure to be around. She lit up a room. She was larger than life. Momma Nancy, you will be sorely missed. Let the memories of you provide us with comfort till we meet again.
My Grandmother “Nonna” was truly a great woman. She had a way with words and such a tremendous personality! I will always have her in my heart and as a part of my soul. One of my favorite memories will always be her expression when I danced with my wife to our wedding song - “Longer than always” - which we had the honor to share with her as she had on her wedding day. Her face lit up with joy and happiness - and then tears, but she was an emotional woman. I can go on and on with memories of Nonna - she will forever be missed and I will always keep her spirit alive within my family and with my children. Love you Nonna - I’ll love you longer than always!
