Obituary of Nancy Carvelli
Nancy Carvelli, 87, of Freehold, New Jersey, formerly of Brooklyn, New York passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2020. She was a parishioner of the Church of Saint Robert Bellarmine.
At the time of her passing, Nancy was comfortably retired from her career as a Vice President with Merrill Lynch.
Nancy lived her life to the absolute fullest. She visited vast places around the world, partook in some of the most exclusive fruits life offered, and always known for her love of her family. Nancy loved to socialize, was a gifted storyteller and loved all of the people in her life - which was clear from her many meaningful stories. She was the most generous person with all that she possessed. Nancy had the ability to control a room with her vibrant self and rare ability to connect with any one person.
As she grew older, Nancy would share updates and proud moments of her children, grandchildren and GREAT grandchildren. She loved her children dearly and was truly proud of all their accomplishments, successes, and family values that she herself implemented into them. She adored time spent in the kitchen sharing family recipes & cooking with her grandson. Her whole day would be made with a simple call, FaceTime or knock at her back door just to be greeted with a hug, kiss, and in her mind priceless artwork from her great grandchildren.
Nancy was witty and a true jokester. She shared tremendous passion for all her New York sports teams - most importantly her JETS. Those who knew her best would certainly say she expressed herself as she wanted to - wholeheartedly one may say.
Nancy was such a classy, well spoken, intelligent, independent, loving, caring, and respected woman. For those who ever had the honor of calling her Mom, Grandma, Nonna, or even a friend, would confidently and at the drop of a dime be able to share a treasured moment with her.
Her absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, and she will be missed by her family more than words can ever say - “Longer than always”.
Nancy, daughter of Rose Rubio, wife of Joseph Carvelli (deceased), is survived by children, Son - Pat Carvelli and wife Mary Kay, Daughter - Janet Roldan and husband Al; Grandson - Stephen Roldan Sr. and wife Kristen, Granddaughter- Kaitlyn Carvelli; Great Grandchildren, Stephen Joseph Jr., Olivia Rose and Dominic Rocco.
