Sam was a true gentlemen and one the kindest most generous human beings in the world. We are sad and he will be missed, but are comforted that he had the best of care and love from Patty. Farewell and rest easy my friend, now you can smoke, drink and sing forever. Love and strength to Patty.

We remember Sam fondly and mourn the loss of his friendship and company. Sam was generous of spirit who loved our weekly date night excursions to local restaurants in our constant search for the perfect combination of food and drink. It was always “all about the cocktails “.

Our sincere condolences to Pat and Sam’s kids. We spent many fun nights with this intelligent, funny man. Our times in the Florida Keys were highlighted by Sam’s kareoke of Jimmy Buffet songs. Sam was a Florida Gator and always loved Florida. So for all of us grieving Sam leaving this earth for a better life- we sing Come Monday...it’ll be alright; Come Monday I’ll be holding you tight. My Uncle Sam was one of a kind! His kindness towards me as a child growing up has really comforted me over the last few days. He always had a smile, his generosity knew no bounds. Thank you Uncle Sam for tolerating my strange eating habits... for sending me shopping... for taking me on trips I would have never been able to go... and for introducing me to my life long obsession with Jimmy Buffet who I have now seen in concert 3 times...❤️
