Alfred,
Joan Ann and I are glad we were able to share a table with you and Carol at a few of our recent "Blue Ball" dinners. Carol was a beautiful lady with an infectious laugh and wonderful disposition. Sadly she will be missed but never forgotten. Hope to see you soon.

Dear Alfred and Family,
Very sorry to hear of Carol's passing.
She was a wonderful person.
You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
This picture of Carol truly reflects her inner and outer spirit of life. ”Kwiat” from her maiden name, Kwiatkowski, means flower in Polish...so apropos bc a flower is life and is a token of love.
From the cooked turkey, slipping and sliding on the kitchen floor from Carol’s mom’s hands one thanksgiving, to the purposely dog-eared recipe, to the “guacamole” incident, to the waking of a Pennsylvania judge in the middle of the night (don’t ask), my memories of over five decades with Carol are overwhelming. So is my profound grief of losing her. Being so humble, I do not think she ever realized just how much she was loved. I can’t get her out of my mind and that’s OK. I like her there. Happy Birthday my beautiful sister-in-law. Till we meet again.
Carol and I became friends more than 50 years ago when Phil & I went to PA for an Temple alumni football game. We attended Carol & Alfred's wedding. When they moved to NY we got together. Phil & I moved to SI IN '75, turned out we were 3 blocks from Carol & Alfred, both homes of theirs. Carol took over my class when Jason was in the hospital. The kids loved her and her NO NO Box. She was the BEST. Our mutual birthdays were important to us and sent cards and met for lunch. I will always miss my Beautiful Friend. Tomorrow is her Birthday and I can't call her. My heart hurts with the magnitude of her loss. Phil will watch over you in Heaven. My Love will be with you.❤ Barbara
There are so many amazing memories I have of Carol throughout all of my years. Some of my best childhood memories were those spent at Alfred and Carol's backyard parties and dinners. There was always an abundance of love , kindness, laughter and of course amazing food! Carol, you will be so missed by so many. Your light will certainly continue to shine within all of our hearts and carry on though your beautiful children and grandchildren. Love, Sheri , Johnny and Jonathan
Aunt Carol, i will miss you dearly. You were always so kind to me and caused a few laughing fits that still make me giggle out loud. I’d like to share one that always makes me laugh. At one of the Thanksgiving dinners years ago, Aunt Carol was trying to convince my mom that a recipe was an old family tradition. She snuck into the kitchen to scribble the ”old” recipe on a piece of paper. Then using the stove, she lit the edges on fire to give the paper and old charred appearance while I was laughing hysterically and making sure nobody caught her. What an amazing sense of humor! My deepest condolences to Uncle Alfred, Pilar, and Tara. I’m so sorry for your loss.
Carol was one of the sweetest and loving people we ever met. She was also one of the funniest and daring, there was nothing she wouldn't try, like throwing a bowl of guacamole into our room just for laughs, or her outrageous Halloween costumes.
She will be missed by all that knew her and loved her.

Mama...Every time I close my eyes I see you smiling and laughing. I can feel your hugs, your soft skin, and your voice telling me you love me. I hope you are having a good time in Heaven with your own mommy, daddy, brother and like Tara said....dancing with your Moon River Mamas. My heart aches and I long to hold you once more.... but I know you are in no more pain and that make me happy. It really does.....Love you FOREVER xoxoxox
Happy Mother’s Day mama! I love you more than words can express and while I miss you so much and wish you were here with us today, I hope you are dancing and partying with your Moon River Mamas and your mom, dad and brother. I can’t wait to wrap my arms around you and tickle your arms and massage your back again!!! Xoxoxo
