Larry Davidson

I would like to extend my condolences to Larry's family.

I was saddened by his passing,and I was aware of health issues he had....but

The last couple of years I have been playing golf with Larry and it was always an

enjoyable time, even though he always beat me. As a lifelong Yankee fan myself,

we had many conversations about baseball and the changes that have come about

on how the game is played.

Of course the 19th hole was always the best one!

He will be missed.

Until we meet on the 18thhole

It was an honor and a privilege to have worked for and with Larry. He was a gentleman amongst men, a kind word, a smile, a listening ear, a great conversationalist, and a person who cares that’s the Larry I will cherish. My heart felt condolences goes to his family. Those we love don’t go away. They walk beside us every day, unseen unheard but always near;Still loved, still missed and always dear.

I am very sorry to hear of the news of Larry’s passing and send my condolences to his family. We will all miss this great man. I was recently reunited with Larry after nearly 50 years. He never changed from the lovely, intelligent, quick witted, good humored person of our youth. He was and always remained my friend. We were friends and teammates on the Seton Hall Baseball team. I fondly remember picking him up at his home in Bloomfield to catch our bus for the away games. We were there for each other when Seton Hall and our team went to the College World Series. We went on to the minor leagues together with the Milwaukee Braves. We saw each other on and off as our families and careers grew and our paths parted. Larry reached out to me and we recently reconnected with phone calls, a dinner at Don Pepe’s and a SHU basketball game. A very good man has been taken from his family and friends much too early. Our lives have all been blessed in knowing and loving this wonderful man. My own health keeps me from attending the funeral in these unique virus times but I will be with my friend and teammate in spirit.

My sincerest condolences to all Larry's family. Larry and my mother (Frances Porcelli Meola) were first cousins.

I have memories of Larry being so nice. As I still am an avid Yankee fan, I easily recall talking to him and Don about baseball. I was very sad to learn of his passing. May he Rest In Peace. My prayers are with his family.
