I was very saddened to hear that Cookie had passed away. Although we lost track of each other over the years, I have fond memories of our days growing up on Hornblower Avenue, Belleville, in the 50s. Those were the carefree days when we would play outside until the street lights went on and Mr. Barlotta would whistle for Cookie when it was time to come home.
Mrs. Barlotta always made home-made pizza for the kids and it was a special treat.
I wish to extend my sympathy and prayers to Lisa and Greg during this most difficult time. Rest In Peace my childhood friend, dear Cookie.
