I can still remember the day Ken started working in IBM down at 59 Maiden Land. Ken went off to a couple of training schools , and our paths crossed along the way a few times, Then back in the late 70's Ken and I began to work together, Aside form his unique sense of humor (he always looked like he had a joke up his sleeve), Ken was a great manager, mentor, teacher, he always had time to listen and offer guidance. Ken became a great friend to me and I will never forget him. He was a genuine individual, and he truly cared for and supported his people and family.Ken had a great impact on me and my future in IBM. I can only imagine the type of Officer he was to his troops, always by their sides.
I am saddened to know I will not see Kens and his smile again,. Kens kindness, and compassion, set an example for many, I am blessed to have had Ken in my life. Ken was definitely an "OFFICER & A GENTLEMAN"
I think when you arrive at the pearly gate there will be and 2 Marines standing at the gate, and a Marine band to welcome you home.
You did a good job here on earth Ken, and you will be sorely missed.
My condolences to Lucille and your entire family
