I was deeply saddened of the news of Bob's passing. He was one of the smartest, caring and most gentle man I have ever known. He will be greatly missed by all. My thoughts, prayers and love are with you all during this time. May his many memories be with you and thought of often!
Love you all -

Dearest Claire, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this sad time.
Neighbors and friends for over 30 years with too many memories to count. The original Driftwood crew. Paul and I were so excited to welcome you both to our community in Florida and continue making so many more new and wonderful memories. God had other plans and only He knows why. Bob was probably the “funnest” and funniest guy we knew with a unique sense of humor like no other. He will be missed. God Bless the entire Berg family. Love, Marie and Paul Bongiorno
Words escape me. I remember Bob joking and smiling and having a good time beaming at his kids and smiling ear to ear with the grandkids. My heart felt condolences go out to you all and prayers and good intentions are being sent to the entire family.
Rest peacefully Bob.
All our love, Nancy and Mike Tunkel
Dearest Claire,and Family,
Our hearts are broken on hearing the passing of Bob. You where both one of the first people we meet after moving to Howell.
Thinking back ,Bobs knowledge he shared with us our first years here. We where grateful for his input. Don't forget his patience when the boys hung out together ".Im sure he deserved an award."And how he made Hamburger helper for them..
We are all at a loss for words and all we can say is ,we love you all and do to the circumstance can not be there as we would want to do what comes naturally ,wanting to Hug and comfort you all. May he RIP .May you and the children and grandchildren find comfort in one another during this difficult time . May his memory be a blessing .

Tom, Kara and family, we are so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
My thoughts are with Bob’s family as they try to get through this very difficult time. I had the privilege of working with Bob at Pool Town, and I will always treasure the conversations we had about Nebraska Football, and all the laughs we shared. Bob had a fantastic sense of humor. He will be missed, but never forgotten.
We are so sorry for the loss of such a great man. Some of our best memories were sharing beers with Mr. Berg at the Howell PBA Oktoberfest each year. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the Berg’s this week. Love you all.
Bob was a great father and husband to my sister Claire, he cared and provided for his family, guided Steven, Thomas and Christina on successful career paths and instilling great core family values. He will be missed.
Tom, Kara, Steve, Meg, and family,
We are so deeply sorry for your tragic loss. Though there are no words, we hope that your memories comfort you.
With love,
Colin, Eileen and Family

All my prayers are going to the Berg family this week for the loss of a great man. Luckily, he passed down some of that greatness to his kids and I know you three will live up to it.
T. and S., please reach out whenever you need anything, even if its just to relive some glory days stories for a quick laugh on a rough day.
Teri and I want to express our most sincere condolences to Claire and her family on the sudden loss of Bob. Even though we only knew Bob a short time, since your move to River Pointe, "The Skipper" was a great friend and will be sorely missed.
