Obituary of Thomas M. Hess
Thomas M. Hess, 81, of Freehold passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, lived in Staten Island, and retired to Howell in 2001. Thomas worked as a Foreman for Enequiste Chemical for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing and taking trips to Atlantic City. Above all, Thomas was a devoted family man who was passionate about being a part of his grandkid’s sports events.
He was predeceased by his son, Robert Hess; and sons-in-law, James Carraher and Andrew Turoff. Thomas is survived by his beloved wife, Maureen Hess of Freehold; seven children, Deborah Turoff of Jackson, Thomas Hess and his wife, Fran of Indian Rock, FL, Phillip Hess of Chicago, IL, Denise Santopietro and her husband, Louis of Howell, Denise Guezze and her husband, Anthony of Old Bridge, and Diane Carraher and Joe Manzo of Howell; eighteen grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, November 29, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM with his funeral service to follow. Relatives and friends who cannot attend, are invited to participate via Webcast through to Funeral Home Website.
