It’s been so many years since I worked with Lena at my first job at Lane Drugs. I was thinking of her lately and learned that she had passed away. Imagine my surprise seeing my teenage self in one of the photos! We had so many laughs together. What a warm, loving, and hilarious woman she was. So much spunk! I’m so glad she lived a good long life, surrounded by those she loved so fiercely. Wishing you all my warmest condolences.

The memories I have of Aunt Lena always make me smile. I will remember her laughing and being kind to me when I was little. I used to love walking up to her house from my Nanny’s. I will miss her and will always regret not visiting her like I should have.

To JoAnn, Connie and Toni Ann - my heart hurts for you. I'll miss your Mom already. She certainly was an original, witty, funny, caring and very kind hearted.

Looking through the pictures brought back so many memories for me. She had a wonderful sense of humor and I really enjoyed the belly laughs, sometimes at my expense, but always in good fun.

It felt so weird transitioning from Mrs. LaBella to Lena, as I got older, but regardless of how I addressed her, she was like a second mother to me and I'll always love her.

We Loved to go visit Aunt Lena whenever we could which was twice a year. We had great times with her and our family from dinners , Christenings to birthdays , just having a lot of laughs and fun times This pass year we couldn’t go visit because of Covid. She was a Fantastic Aunt and myself and Mark will miss her terribly. Rest In Peace Aunt Lena . We Love You

Joann, Connie and Toni, I'm so sorry to hear about Aunt Lena. She was always so spunky and full of life. As a kid I always loved going up the road to play and hang around her house. She will always be in my heart. She's now with the love of her life, Uncle Joe. May she RIP. All my love, Maureen
