Condolences
To All the Dorey Children: Terry, Joann, Bill, Chris, and all the Grandchildren.
I was sadden to read of your Mother/Grandmother's passing. I have fond memories of your mother as a person of leadership in Farmingdale, and as a loving mother of classmates of mine. She always had a warm smile and a friendly hello.
It is never easy to lose a loved one, and especially difficult to lose a mother, no matter how old we are.
Thinking of you from South Carolina and keeping your family in my prayers.
Anne Merrick Willuweit
We are so deeply saddened to learn of Anita's passing. She came into our lives when she met my father, Frank Gibbs, in Florida. They would spend many winters there and many summers in Canada, near to our family. Many hours were spent with Anita around the campfire or on our patio, chatting and laughing together. Anita's sense of humour and her laugh were wonderful and we will miss her so very much. We send our love, prayers and thoughts to all of Anita's family and wish we could be there in person at this time.
Robin & Cliff, Stacey, Aaron and Heather Paquette (and their families).
To the entire Dorey Family, I was truly moved upon reading about the passing of Anita. I have a number of pleasant memories of stopping by at The Howell/Farmingdale First Aid building and constantly finding Anita and Chris at the building always ready to help and serve the people of their Community. Anita will always have a Cheerful, Considerate, Positive and Thoughtful thing to say about her Family and her Community. This is shown by the numerous positions and Boards that she chose to serve on, to make life better for those that she believed in, not only in Farmingdale, but also in Howell Township and the County of Monmouth. When I left the building and continued on with my Police Duties, I always felt Better, Uplifted and Positive and Proud to serve the citizens of Farmingdale and Howell alongside such Dedicated and Caring People like Anita and Chris. They were true anchors for their Community. Anita will be in our Thoughts and Prayers, Rest in Peace. Dennis and Jackie Scott. Dennis, Retired Howell Township Police Department
My heartfelt condolences to Anita’s extended family. Anita was a long time companion of my late brother-in-law, Frank Gibbs. My late wife Elsie & I only met Anita on two occasions but we exchanged cards, especially at Christmas & kept connected on each other’s travels & adventures. We admired her spunk to attend Bingos & Casinos. May the pain of your loss be eased by all the happy memories. In sympathy, Jake Berg, Saskatoon,Sk. Cda.
Anita was a very dear friend to my father in his later life. They enjoyed each other's company and did lots together. Anita was a friend to me also. My condolences to all of Anita's family at this sad time. God bless Anita.
