Condolences
I am so sorry about the passing of your Mom. I know that you were always very close to her and that this truly hurts your heart.
Hold firmly to the comfort that someday you will be reunited and for now be comforted by all the wonderful memories you have of her.
God's peace
Lucy was a loving, devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She always put God First in her life and prayed the rosary every day. Her passion was cooking and family gatherings, especially on Sundays. We all have fond memories spent at the Mariano home. Lucy will be missed but will never be forgotten. She will hold a special place in our hearts always. Life and Love continue far beyond what we can see.
My sincere condolences go out to the Mariano family in the loss of their beloved Mother, Lucy. She is truly with the Lord now and all the angels and saints. I will never forget how good she was to our family. Both Tom and her were pray warriors for anyone who needed prayers. They will be remembered as wonderful models of how to be a true Christian. I will never forget them and their kindness to all of us.
Rest in peace, Lucy, I am sure you are in our Lord's arms now.
Lucy and Tom were the most special people that my family was ever blessed to have known. I will never forget the kindness, generosity and love that they showed to our family during difficult times. As a child, I remember witnessing not only their love for the Lord, but also their service to the church and anyone that crossed paths with them that was in need. They were the back bone of St. Robert’s Church and one could often find them there praying, serving or doing any job that was needed. When people say they “broke the mold when they made them” it could not be any more of the truth when it came to Lucy and Tom. To this day, though I have not had contact with Lucy for years, they will forever hold a very special place in my heart. I am happy to know that Lucy has been reunited with Tom and has met her Lord and savior face to face in paradise. I can only hope to leave as lasting of an impact in someone’s life as the both of them have left in mine. Lucy, I will always love you and will be forever grateful for all you and Tom have done for my family.”Welcome home good and faithful servant.”
My sincere condolences to the entire Mariano family and all those who were fortunate enough to know and love Lucy. I met her when I had just moved into the area as a 5-year-old boy, and for the entire 36 years I had the pleasure of knowing her, she always greeted me with a huge smile, kind eyes and words.
I'll miss seeing her and sitting beside her in church. The world lost a special one, but heaven gained an angel.
When we moved to this area 35 years ago, Lucy and Tom literally adopted us as a family -- Lucy mentored me as a disciple of Jesus, through the prayer group at St. Robert Bellarmine, so much of my spiritual growth was due to her. She encouraged and allowed her compassionate and loving husband, Tom, to be available to help me in emergencies with my disabled husband, and the love for her family was an example to all of us in how to raise our children. Rest in peace, my dear friend, and my sincere condolences to your loving family!
