Condolences
My sincere condolences to Les and family. Joe was a great neighbor who got along with everyone. His obit is an excellent tribute to the man you loved. May he rest in peace and maybe meet Jim on the other side.
Mr. Soldano was my next door neighbor for many years in Freehold. He and his wife, Les, practically adopted all us Seneca kids and I have so many happy memories filled with fun and laughter because of them both! Thanks, Mr S for all the generosity of your life towards us and the tremendous impact you had on myself and my siblings. My most sincere condolences,, Les, on the loss of such a great man. Love you both!
A big thanks to Joe for being a positive influence during my youth. Rest in peace my friend.

All of us Wynnfield kids were up at the Juniper park throwing the baseball around when Mr. Seneca brought Mr. Saldano to the park to hit us some fly ball practice. Well Mr. Saldano was hitting the baseball so high up into the clouds we could barely see the ball!! It was fun being around him and I will miss him as he was an important part of my growing up in Freehold with little league baseball.

I was so sad to hear of Joe's passing. He was one of the most giving and welcoming people I've ever had the good fortune to have in my life. He loved his family and would always be there to lend a helping hand. I will always look on the memories of my times spent with him with a smile and a happy heart. To Les, Brian and Kendal we send our deepest condolences during this very difficult time. Rest easy my friend. Love to all, Lee Castleman
Both Peter and I were so sad to hear of Joe’s passing. He was such a big part of our Brookside family and i can’t tell you how seeing his smile always put me in such a good mood. Joe had a great sense of humor and was kind and caring to all who crossed his path. My memories of our great weekends of volleyball, game night, poker and of course some cocktails are treasures for me and Peter. My favorite memory is Joe and Kendale dancing at my wedding and then sliding across the floor. It still makes me smile just thinking about it. I know it’s been too long since I saw Joe’s smiling face but he will always stay in our hearts. My deepest condolences to you all and Leslie, Kendalle, BJ and your families hold Joe’s memories close to your heart as he was so special and one of a kind.
I am very sad to hear about the passing away of Joe. It seems like a lifetime ago that I have seen him. BUT what WONDERFUL memories I have of those summers at Brookside Swim Club playing volleyball, laughing, and eating A LOT! Joe was a BIG TEDDY BEAR! I remember he always loved his kids and would help anyone in need. He had such a great personality, smile, and a great tan!! Those memories of spending time with Joe & Lesly and their family will always stay close to my heart. May he be at peace and continue to watch over them always. So sorry again. Love, Debster
Rest In Peace dear cousin. You are now with your entire family up in heaven. You were always, kind, friendly, helpful and loving to me throughout my life. I will never forget you!!!!
All my Love,
Cousin Frankie
Joe was a GREAT guy. However, it has been a very long time since I have seen him, I am very sorry to say. We go back many years playing softball. The laugh is that at first I played against him on a team and later was able to play with his team. He was a great catcher. Some of the guys we played with might remember that although my name is Tom, Joe game me the nickname of "T". It has stayed with me my entire life. It was due to some defensive play calls we had between us. I am so sorry very that I have not see him for such a long time. I will NEVER forget him and his family. Leslie and the kids were always at the games and going for the food and drinks later.
