Condolences
I’m so sad and sorry to see this. Carmen was so graciously strong and such a pleasure to know and be around. We are going to miss her terribly. Xoxo. Our deepest condolences to Fil, David, Rachel and their families.
Having Carmen as my neighbor was like having a sister live across the street. Our children played together, and played loud music in her garage. But I’ll never forget my son asking why I couldn’t make white rice like Carmen. Sweet Carmen, I will miss her terribly, always and forever your friend, Rose.
She was an amazing woman and enriched all who knew her. She was full of love and warmth and will be dearly missed. My prayers of comfort to her family and all who treasured her. She is an angel soaring in heaven.
Tita Carmen, as we fondly call her, is the 4th younger sister of my mother-in-law, Lily. It was always a treat visiting her beautiful homes in either Talisay, Cebu, Philippines or Freehold, New Jersey, because it felt like I was in my DREAM home. She was a meticulous housekeeper, designer & cook, that she can give Martha Stewart a run for her money! She was so generous in every way to all her relatives. She always had that happy disposition & I can’t remember ever seeing her get angry. Thank you for loving us, Tita.
I love you.

Losing someone is a very painful experience, especially someone you love. Tita Carmen has always been there for us. She's always asking me how my Nanay is (eldest sister, Lily). She loves getting updates on what's happening back here in Consolacion. And she's eager to help out our relatives. I still have with me the birthday cards and Christmas cards I regularly received (with smuggled dollars meticulously folded to escape detection, haha). I'll miss our lazy afternoon chit chats, with endless coffee and muffins. She's like a second mother to me and I'll miss her terribly.

Condolence to the familyHer obituary is a perfect description of who she was. She was the first Filipino family I met in 1983 when I migrated here in USA. She was a sweet, kind, and thoughtful friend.... her children are just a mirror of her and her husband. May she Rest In Peace in the Lords paradise. All my love and prayers of comfort to the family
