Condolences
My Condolences to Ann's family during these difficult times, may she R. I. P.
I've known Ann for many years as I did Art. One of my favorite memories of Ann was when I was the director of the Farmingdale Methodist Church daycare and Art had graciously agreed to be Santa. Ann asked for the name of each child and wrote a personal Santa letter for each one. She was wise and gracious. She was funny and supportive. I loved her dearly and will miss our talks. My condolences to the Julian family.

I had the opportunity to meet Miss Hamm almost exactly 10 years ago. I was with her son Art who lives in California. After meeting her I realized why her son was the man that he was. She was a special person.
We went to church with Miss Ann for many years, and she will always have a special place in the hearts of me and my family. I grew up in the church and have the best memories of Miss Ann (and Mr. Art, especially when he was Santa). Miss Ann always took the time to talk to you and show interest in your life, and even offered great advice. She had such dedication and love for her church and church family. My youngest son Zachary had Miss Ann as his Sunday School teacher, she was the one who taught him the Lord's Prayer. She knew how important it was for children to learn that prayer and she worked with them each week until they had it memorized. This memory is special to my son, and is one that he will always carry throughout his life. My older son remembers the fun he and Miss Ann shared making apple dumplings in the kitchen of the church for our bake sale. We have so many wonderful memories of times shared with her. Miss Ann has a special place in all the hearts of her West Farms Methodist Church family, we love her and she will truly be missed.
Our love, thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time.
