Obituary of Ann Marie Julian
Ann Marie Julian, 86, of Brick passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021, peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at home. She was born and raised in Jersey City and had lived in Belmar, Neptune, and Howell before settling in Brick in 2002. Ann was active in the Brick and Howell Historical Societies and was a dedicated member of the West Farms Methodist Church. She retired from the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office after over 20 years of service. Ann took great pride in her family and enjoyed spending quality time with each one of them. Her legacy will live through the countless memories she made with family and friends.
She is predeceased by her husband, Arthur Julian; parents, Nicholas and Anna Sanfilippo; daughter, Karen Rassmussen; grandsons Richard and Russell Rassmussen; and brother, Nicholas Sanfilippo. Ann is survived by her children, Barbara Williams and her husband, Loren of Kentucky; Arthur Julian and his wife, Colleen of California; Robert Julian and his wife, Mary Anne of Brick; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; two sisters, Nancy Sakalosky and her husband, Dieter Hekler of Wykoff and Barbara Preston of North Carolina.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM funeral service on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls.
