Condolences
I just heard of Angelo's passing last night and I am so sorry. We would run into Angelo at Sam's club and he was always smiling and happy to chat with us. Our condolences to the entire Avvento family. Tom & Kim Cook.
There are very rare occasions in life when a friend becomes your family. Rarer still is finding a man who's warmth is genuine, whos smile is inviting, and who's actions are fitting of a true role model. Angelo sharing time and space with you has been one of our lives great pleasures. As your neighbors we have bore witness to your many great accomplishments and successes. The greatest being the growth of your beautiful family. Delores, Peter, and Joseph you have our unconditional love, support, and condolences. We mourn with you. Angelo you will be missed and you are loved. Love always The Radoncic family. Elmaz, Margaret, Senela, Sultan (Tony), and Selvija.
A true angel on Earth has been called to go home to Heaven where he will shine bright. Uncle "ANG" was the most gentle person I have known. He always made me feel like I was the most important person he was talking to. I'm sure we all can attest to that. I will always cherish my memories of watching Super Bowl III with him at Grandma's house, sitting in front of a small black and white TV and of playing softball with him and his friends every Saturday at Bergen Beach. But besides that, his kind manner and disposition is something that will always be with me. He was my Uncle, my Brother, my Friend! I was truly blessed to have had him in my life, not gone never forgotten always in my heart. See you later "ANG"
To Uncle Angelo in heaven, a sweet and kind man just like all the Avvento men. You will be missed. Always remember you and Uncle Richie coming over and visiting my grandparents. Rest In Peace. The party in heaven just welcomed another.
Love, Geraldine’s son Joe
He was one of the “good guys”. I have so many memories of Uncle Angelo growing up. He became a big part of my life, through his advice and caring -it was life changing. He truly cared about everyone — a life that was so vibrant and so much of the life energy!. There are so many tales of Uncle Angelo, but the one that perhaps most do not remember happen on a handball court near Grandma’s house many many years ago. Uncle Angelo was a good athlete and played lots of handball — I believe it was his favorite. One day while I was on my Sunday visit to Grandma’s, I was at the park watching him play, when two guys challenged him to a game ….with me!! I was not much of a handball player, but our Uncle said yes.. Well you can imagine. I was sort of a big handicap for him but he played on and in reality beat these guys all by himself. What a man!! Yes this man lived a very good life and with the help of his lovely wife Delores, raised some fine young men —good citizens and people! What a legacy to leave..Love you Uncle Angelo you left your mark here on Earth for others to carry on.
My beautiful Uncle. He was the best, sweetest, gentlest man. When you would talk to him, he would truly listen and always had a smile on his face. I love you Uncle Ang. ❤️
My Uncle Angelo, how I always said I wanted to meet a MAN just like you! Every Avvento MAN Was/is a true one in a million...The most pleasant, respectful, loving & caring man. I will miss you terribly..Love you. Rest Easy my Sweet Uncle in God's Heavenly arms. You have lots of family up there with you...
