Doctor O'Scanlon was one of the kindest therapists I ever met. He was from the same town in Ireland as my grandfather. He always made me laugh, even when I was having trouble in a top 30 school. I know its two years later, but I watched a movie set in Ireland and thought of him and knowing he retired long ago, just threw up a random google. God bless this man in the hereafter and all of his family. That memorial tribute gave me a soft tear, not out of sadness, but because I knew he lived the fullest life. Telling me where he came from, where he studied, how proud of all his kids. It motivated me to become a Neuropsychologist as stressful as the path was He taught me courage. He taught me how to set goals. He taught me how to not let fear get in the way, to just believe in yourself. He was an exceptional man, truly like my grandfather from the same town. Thank you so much for everything Doc.
