May Grandpa Rest In Peace And May Perpetual Light Shine Upon Him …
Sorry to hear of the death of your father. My memories of him go back to the early days of St John Vianney. All are remembered in my prayers.
Sr Bernadette Larson MSC
Joe was certainly one of a kind. Everyone at Shore Builders loved his spirit and sense of humor. We were lucky to have his leadership and guidance for 3 presidential terms. May he rest in peace.

We’re heartbroken to hear of Mr. Louro’s passing. He was one of a kind.
We’ll miss his calls and jokes and his positive attitude.
Every phone call, for years, the same thing…he would say.. “ I always told Jean I never liked that Joan Kuzava”!! Will hold that memory dear. It never got old or failed.
Condolences to the family. He will be missed.
Larry & Joan Kuzava
My heart was broken to hear the passing of Mr.Louro. Joe was like a second dad to me and I will miss him terribly. I will miss his funny jokes, going out to breakfast with him, talking about the good old days & his grandchildren. All our phone calls and every time before I hung up I'd say I'll call you next week, and Mr.Louro would say, no wait 2 weeks...lol. C'mon it's funny! He was the best. A wonderful father, husband, grandpa, friend, poker player and joke teller. I will miss you terribly, but I know you're going to be greeted by all your loved ones on the other side. I'll be seeing you!!! Love you, Patty Durget Kiely Goetz!!
So sorry to hear of Joe’s passing.
I thoroughly enjoyed working closely with Joe during the construction of the new church.

Thank you Joe for sharing your faith, love and humor. The parish staff will truly miss your, Aboldo Russo’s and Claude’s calls to the office. Forever in our hearts.
So sorry to hear this news. Joe will be missed for his jokes and laughter he bought me when I saw him in the office. He always bought a smile to my face. Condolences to the family. RIP Joe. I Will never forget you...
So sorry to hear of Joes passing. A great and funny guy. He will enjoy his next round of poker games in heaven.
So I go back 40 years with Joe. Back during the Shore Builders days. I would listen to all the boring speeches and wait for Joe...time to laugh. I was just kid but I thought this guy is hilarious. Always a great joke or line. Had not seen him in many years until I moved into Xanadu and there he was! Now it was an elevator joke! He will be missed by many. Just this Monday he came down to a meeting at Xanadu. He spent most his time in his home but made our meeting outside when he saw us there. I said Joe come on give us a couple good ones! He did we all had a Joe Louro moment laughing with him. He said I gave his age away after saying how long I knew him. Karen my wife and I feel cherished that we had that time with him. God Bless Joe.
