Obituary of Teresa Goworek

Teresa Goworek, 83 of Howell Township passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 29, 2021.  Teresa was born and raised in Suvotki (Suwalki), Poland.  She came to the United States in 1964 settling in Allentown, PA.  Teresa then moved to Jersey City and then to North Bergen to raise her family.   She retired, with her husband, to Howell Township in 1999.  Throughout her life, Teresa worked many different jobs but her fulltime job was being a mother and homemaker.  She enjoyed reading and watching old movies.  Teresa was a woman of faith and was a former parishioner of St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, Lakewood. 

She is survived by her husband, Wieslaw; three sons, Stanley Goworek of Howell, John Goworek and his wife Lisa of Middletown and Robert Goworek and his wife, Barbara Ann of Oakland; four grandchildren, Jade, Kyle, Samantha, and Matthew.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 9:30 AM Funeral Mass on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at The Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell Township, NJ 07731.  Interment will be private.  For information, directions or condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com.
