Condolences
You never get over the loss of a mother. You just “get through it”. Mary was my sister in law for many years and I know for certain that she loved her boys. I am happy she was able to see her two grandchildren and enjoy them. May you rest in the peace and mercy of our Lord and I pray He has welcomed you into your Eternal home above.
Mary and I became friends when we worked together. Our kids also went to school together. Mary was kind, and generous to all who knew her. I will always remember our vacation to Ireland. We had a great time and I saw where Mary grew up , we were friends for over thirty years. Rest In Peace my friend until we meet again
Seeing her sitting in her beach chair, hearing her laugh with the other mothers at the Lake.
Looking over to see her reveling in the warmth of the sun at one of our innumerable baseball games.
Staying up late Christmas Eve to wrap presents with her. Eventually Bailey’s joined us.
a snow too late
limbs and boughs under downy frost
broken not by this soft storm
tempests, gales and drought
wrought this late enduring peace
bitter and cold, no sun would shine
first light nor last would warm
snow drifts veil past and future
shroud of autumn labor
flakes aloft with sure fate
alight, gentle to ground and branch
til thaw of ice, memory springs
snowdrop, daffodil and crocus
frostbite tears never more
til emerald embrace bohermore
