Linda was a beautiful lady with such a deep love of family. We were blessed to know her and my husband to work with. Such a kind loving lady that will be missed by many. She was a true warrior and inspiration to many. Linda had beautiful smile and shining light. May she rest in eternal peace in the house of the lord and her light shine down on all. Linda was a very warm loving person. Although I haven't seen her in a long time, she was not a person you would easily forget. She always had a smile on her face and a warmth emanating from her being. A fabulous Wife, Mother, and Grandmother which I'm sure are the things she loved most. My love and sympathy to the Silk family. She will be greatly missed! Rest In Peace my friend

It isn't that I knew Linda, more that I knew of her. Silk, I could never call him Greg, never failed to mention her during any conversation. That's an understatement, he did more than mention. He sang her praises. His best stories were how he messed up, whether a a kid or adult, but he wasn't the star of the story... if you thought so you were not listening. In every bit of trouble, for every debt, for everything he said he did wrong, he followed up with how Linda saved the house, saved the budget, saved the family.... saved him. She always saved him. Even during the last seven years, it wasn't how much trouble Silk was going through with his wife... it was how God blessed him by giving Linda to him and for all the time he got to be with her until the end. Always, always how Linda was his life, his love, his Queen. I guess I lied in the first sentence when I said I really didn't know Linda. If you knew Silk you knew Linda. God Bless, enjoy the rest you deserve in Heaven.
