Dear Bill Reuter and family members of Betty Reuter, I am shocked to hear of the earthly departure of Betty. I have very happy memories of Betty and Bill as I had been guest of Betty and Bill several times in Eaton Town, NJ when I was assigned to Fort Monmouth. They have been exemplary Catholics and dedicated volunteer workers in the faith community.

Tomorrow, March 10, 2022 I will be offering Holy Mass for the eternal reward and happiness of Betty. The Lord whom she served with great enthusiasm and dedication, throughout her noble life sure declares to her "Good and faithful servant, enter into your Father's Kingdom which has been prepared for you..." May Betty enjoy the visible presence of the Lord whom she served throughout her life!

Bill, thank you for being her caregiver, managing her medical appointments and always being there for Betty. I know how much she was loved by you.

Even though I never met Betty, I feel I knew her very well because her sister-in-law Pat Reuter and I were very good friends and went to nursing school together. Pat talked about her family quite a bit and I got to know them through her stories. My heart breaks for Pat Betty’s family and friends. I am sending prayers for the repose of the soul of Betty Reuter.

I am sorry to hear about Mrs. Reuter. I have such fond memories of our Christmas Days at your warm and loving home, each year, when we were in NJ. Mrs. Reuter was alway so cheery and welcoming to our family, as we didn't have any family in the area for the holidays. I know Mom and Dad will miss her very much, as well, and all the great travel memories and fun times they had with her. Thinking of you all & God Bless. Bill, and Children, we are so very sad of the passing of Betty. She was a very dear friend and sister in Christ to us.
