My condolences to the family. I grew up with Harvey - grammar school and high school. We were teammates on the freshman and JV baseball team at RHS. I remember him telling us during grammar school that he wanted to be a policeman someday - good for him that he did it.
I went to grammar school with Harvey. He was always one of the most handsome boys in our class! Harvey was sweet, funny and one of the guys you wanted on your volleyball team! I am so saddened by this news! Harvey, you were a gem! A good guy…a good friend, and you will be so missed!
Rip Harvey Cohen it was an honor to know you and work with you. To the Cohen family iam so sorry for your lost. His memory lives on in our hearts Michael Gunther retire H.T.P.D #120
So when I first started the job I was trained by my brother, Kevin Stout. Kevin and Harv were inseparable and treated me like family. So many grateful memories with Harv, not only on the job, but socially with family. I will surely miss and think of him for the rest of my life. Condolences to his family. God bless, my friend, and rest in peace.
To the entire Cohen family, our sincere condolences for the loss of a very special man. Harvey was so much more than himself, having served honorably for thirty years with the Howell Township Police, and having such a passion for the Special Olympics and Torch Run. Having had the pleasure of working with Harvey, I know that he was always well respected by all of us "Road Dogs" , and he was always a good backup, when needed. He loved that PR-24, and I would not want to be on the wrong side of him, holding that baton. He and his older brother Mike (Captain Michael Cohen), were always good to work with, and well respected. Rest in peace, brother Harvey. We all miss you. Deepest sympathy to his wife, children, and grandchildren. Know that Harvey has returned home, and with our Heavenly Father. God bless, Gregory and Nina Parisi
Corporal Cohen, or Triple C as he was known in our Howell schools, was such a great model for our students! He gave safety tips in our morning announcements as Corporal Cohen’s Corner (hence the Triple C). We are so sad to hear this news! He will forever be a part of the Howell Schools Family and our Newbury Cobras. It was an honor to work with him.
To Shelley and Family,
I worked with Harvey for many years. He was dedicated to his profession and left a lasting impression on the ones he touched. Harvey was a friend to all and the face of the event he loved so much dedicating his life to raising awareness for the Special Olympics. God has called him home. May he Rest In Peace. Joe Fiore
Harvey Cohen was a true friend to Howell and to Aldrich School. We were always happy to see him when he could come in. He really cared for the safety of our students and he was a good friend to the staff. I was honored to have known him. My condolences to the Cohen family. May he rest in eternal peace.
My sincerest condolences to Harvey's family. Harvey was one of the best. Both of my boys always looked up to him when they were growing up and now as adults, Harvey was always a friend to them. RIP. You will surely be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. He was a good friend to the students and staff of Aldrich School. We loved having him on our live video announcements. We also enjoyed having him accompany the safety patrol group on our trips.
My sincere condolences to Shelley, Rebecca and the entire Cohen family. Harvey was a wonderful person with a huge heart. I have such wonderful memories of us coaching our daughters in softball and watching Harvey demonstrate how to catch a ball playing first place while managing not to spill a drop of coffee from his Dunkin’ Donuts cup. Rest In Peace my friend.
My sincere condolences to the Cohen family. I had the pleasure of knowing Harvey for a long, long time. A good cop, all around good guy. He will be missed.
