I was shocked about Tony! I hope you went in peace and no suffering. The ones you left behind hurt. Tony and I are half cousins. We would spend Holidays together at our Aunt Annies. I recently saw and spoke with Tony at Aunt Annies. I was glad I was able to relay a small piece of the past to him recently. It was about our Dads, who were forever friends. Alone in Naple area, Italy. My Dad was to meet his brother,(MIA in Anzio). My Father, Vincenzo runs into his friend from Chambersburg, and they wept together. It was Tony's Dad. I never knew who that person was till Butch Del. told me just recently. I'm glad I was able to tell Tony. Just as you would expect Tony's response, "Sam, thank you for that! Dad never talked to us much about it either like your dad . They were the greatest generation of proud men we will ever see…Anthony DelAversano." Tony was a proud and seemed fearless, he stayed his course. He was a Natural, Leader, loved by all. Missed by Everyone.
