Obituary of William Grossman

William Grossman, 87, of Manalapan passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at home.  William was born and raised in Teaneck.  He raised his family in Woodcliff Lake and had lived in Rutherford before moving to Manalapan a few years ago.  William was a graduate of St. Cecilia High School in Englewood where he played football for Vince Lombardi and Joe Lombardi.  This influenced the rest of his life.  Not only leading him to his passion for coaching football and cheering on his New York Football Giants but always keeping fit and hitting the gym.  He retired from the Plumbers Local 24, West Caldwell.  William was a caring father of six and adoring grandfather of twelve.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Mary Grossman and two sisters.  William is survived by four sons, William, Edward, Frank and Matt; a daughter, Ann; and twelve grandchildren.
