Condolences
I considered you to be one of my best friends unfortunately with your departure I don't have that many left. I will miss you buddy. I'm sorry the stories we shared will be lost with the passing of time. Rest peacefully knowing you did a fantastic job with the life you have lived. If a man’s worth is measured by the friends and impressions he has left then your legacy will prove you were the best a man can be.
Our deepest condolences to Trudy, Robert Jr and all his family members. Robert was one of the kindest and most generous souls I have known. Robert lived life to its fullest and he has touched so many people during his life. I have shared so many amazing memories with him, our Grateful Dead road trips through the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s is what they write books about. The crazy parties he had at the duplex in Howell (living next to Tom McGuigan made it even more wild!!). Can’t forget the condo he shared with Tim and they invented Coors’s beer ball lamps. The list goes on and on… I do know the happiest things in Robert’s life was getting married to Trudy and having a son together. Robert will be missed by so many people and I will certainly be toasting my friend with a cold one and tears in my eyes, but a massive smile as I think about all the good times we had. Rest in peace Robert!
Robert (Chick) & Joyce Mozak;
It was so much fun growing up with Robert. No matter where we were he was always the life of the party and he would always make us laugh. We had so fun at our music shows and our trip to Ohio. You were a great friend and you will be missed very much.
Dearest Trudy
We were truly saddened to hear about the loss of you precious husband.
Sending along our deepest heartfelt condolences to you and your son Robert.
Much love Jeannie and Bob.
Hard to find the right words...
Great Memories of a wonderful friend and neighbor. Always good music playing!!!
I will always remember you singing on the front porch.
A toast to you! I will truly miss you. Til we meet again. Rest in Peace Rob!
I remember the liquor store opened at 7 a.m. when we were in high school. I also remember the Royal Lounge, Old West, the Circle Inn. I remember the S-10, bail money, 4-wheeling & getting stuck. We sure had some good times, old friend.

We really have so many memories to share, but two of the favorites are the countless Sunday nights at your house, when you would have me and Tom sit on the "love seat" as you teased us relentlessly or the time we went to Florida for Ray K's wedding when you introduced me to Trudy, who quickly became my BFF (such a wonderful beginning). Trudy and I played the BEST prank on you and Tom which we will never forget! You boys were so gullible and not happy with us at all, neither of you found it funny (even though everyone else did) so you had me and Trudy sit in the back of that BIG Cadillac and you wouldn't talk to us. Priceless!!!
Just one last thing, they say you loved cooking and you were best known for your soup, I am not sure about that because I would definitely say your Baked Mac and Cheese and your Bruchetta (and I am so blessed you gave me the recipe). ❤ We will love you always and we'll miss you forever. ❤ Rest easy dear friend. ❤
Some of my favorite childhood memories included Uncle Rob. My first Long Island iced tea on a cruise and dancing on my sweet 16 are just some.Thank you for being such a great friend to my Dad. Praying for your whole family. Sending the biggest hugs to Trudy and Rob.
Where do we start. We are all so saddened by your sudden loss. You were happy, jolly, funny, generous, lovable, goofy plain old NUTS and the list goes on. EVERYONE knew you were the life of the party. You lived your life to the fullest, every single minute of it. I will miss sharing photos of food with you. I will miss having cocktails with you. You are all over our home. Every single room in our home will remind us of you. I am so grateful for everything you ever did for Drew and I. We will all look after Trudy and (lil) Rob. You are forever on our minds, forever in our thoughts and forever in our hearts and will be missed so much. We love you Big Daddy. ❤️
My sincere and deepest condolences to Trudy and Robert and the Costello Family.
Robert had a jolly, loving caring soul. He was a true friend to everyone that knew him. My last memory is the big bear hug and kiss we exchanged when Robert and his Brother Eddie completed my renovation after a flood.
Glad I had that moment.
Sleep in peace with the Angels dear Robert.
Our deepest condolences to Trudy and Robert.
He was my buddy. He was always so much fun, I loved talking to him and always looked forward to seeing him at the yearly horseshoe party and the afternoons at the Elks. Most of the time I would choose the seat next to him and he never acted like I was bothering him. He will be missed by everyone that knew him.
RIP my good friend
