Obituary of Melissa Erdo

Melissa Erdo, 53, of Lanoka Harbor passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Hackensack Meridian Jersey Shore University Medical Center. She was born and raised in Holmdel before settling in Lanoka Harbor in 2009. Melissa would often reminisce about her childhood growing up on her family farm. She worked for Prudential for 20 years as an accountant before working as a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker Realty. Melissa was a proud member of the 17 Day Diet Challenge and appreciated all the constant support she received from her friends during these last couple of months. She adored her daughter Lily; she would constantly refer to her as the love of her life. Melissa’s legacy will live on forever in our lives and in our hearts.

Melissa was predeceased by her parents, John and Lillian Greco.  She is survived by her loving husband, Rodney Erdo of Lanoka Harbor; her daughter, Lily Erdo of Lanoka Harbor; her son, Rick Drahos and his wife, Laura of Forked River; her grandsons, Maverick and Sawyer; her sister, Maryann Hemhauser of Atlantic Highlands; and her fur babies, Saga, Brodie and Buddy.
