Obituary of Thomas Rorke

Thomas Rorke, 29, of Farmingdale passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at home.  Tom was born in Brooklyn and lived his whole life in Farmingdale.  He was a graduate of Howell High School.  Tom received his bachelor’s from Montclair University.  He had worked for Shop n’ Bag and most recently for Lowes.  Tom had a passion for sports and could be found playing pick up basketball games at Oak Glen Park.  He was a true fan of the New York Yankees and the J-E-T-S.  Tom relished in his time playing his PlayStation and was a true movie buff. 

He is survived by his parents, Christopher and Nancy Rorke of Farmingdale; his sisters, Emily Rorke of Howell and Alyssa Rorke of Philadelphia; three uncles; six aunts; and many cousins and dear friends.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM with his funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM.  Interment will be private.  For those who desire memorial contributions may be made to the National Brain Tumor Society, 55 Chapel St., Suite 006, Newton, MA 02458 or HERE.         For information, directions or condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com.
