Condolences to the Conk family on the passing of Abe. My dad John Morris was in the fire company with him and Mom and I was in the Fire Auxiliary with Ada. The Conk family was a big part of the Smithburg community and was always ready to help when needed.

I was sorry to read of Abe's passing. He was in the Freehold Twp. Independent Fire Co. with my father. and my mother was in the auxiliary with Ada. I can't count the number of times that my mother remarked what a good heart Abe had. In later years, he was very kind and helpful to my father. He was a good man. My condolences to the family.

Heartfelt sympathy to the Conk family!
Abe lived with me for 9 years in Freehold as my companion.
We met at Freehold Twp Firehouse at a function and there he laid his cards on the table and said this is what I have he was so funny and said may I call on you.Two days later he did and we connected ,went and did many things together. Went to Hawaii and Alaska. Went to Bingo, Casinos and Horse races.
He enjoyed going out to eat and trying different foods with my family as well. He always talked about historical things and the good old days. There wasn’t a thing he didn’t know. My boys enjoyed him tremendously Abe reminded them of there grandfather when it came time to answering questions he knew it all.
Abe was a great person and very loving companion and wii
miss him.. You are now at rest with God
Always and Forever

Our sincerest condolences! Abe was such an amazing person and we were lucky enough to call him family for the last 13 years! He always wanted to be included in the action and was always happy when we visited - especially once Cooper was born! He flew to Palm Springs, CA for our wedding and even drove out to the Hamptons a few times for family get togethers. We will miss his daily phone calls - we spoke multiple times a day every single day. He will be greatly missed! All our love, Brad, Casey and Cooper Emmons
My sincere condolences to Abe's family in this very difficult time. My wife and I have known Abe for over 60 years. We both went to school with Ada. He was always a friend. R.I.P.
Abe was like an older brother to me. He was very close to my Dad and loved by my family. He and his family visited us in GA and FL when we moved out of NJ. He drove the limo for my first wedding. When my Dad died he drove all night to get to his funeral. He was a great friend and will be so missed!!
Abe was always helpful to my family. He actually moved my sister's furniture from NJ to Florida once. He was a great friend to my father, Phil Schubel. A very kind man.

Our thoughts and prayers to you and your family- Bobby and I have know Abe for the past 13 years- he was Kind, Sweet, Funny and a pleasure to be around. He spent many holidays at our house, or going to dinner as well as just an average weekend. Bobby and Abe continuously spoke about his time in the US Navy, his love for his collection of coins and working for the Monmouth County Park System. He will be greatly missed! RIP - You are now a Angel above watching over us!
