Condolences
My name is Gary.I knew Fred from the 3rd grade and from speed equipment world in Queens NY.Sorry to hear he passed.RIP
I’m the younger sister of one of his buddies from his teenage years and remember him with so much fondness. He and my brother, both motor heads, would hang out in front of our house in Flushing…..car hood open, staring at and having long discussions about the engine. I’m truly so, so sorry for your loss and extend my deepest and sincerest sympathy to the Garfinkle family.
I met Fred as an outpatient at the Regional Cancer Care Associates office. We had similar treatment schedules. We sat near each other and never stopped talking about many similar interests. It made those visits go fast. I only knew Fred for a few months and looking at the video, the family was so blessed to have him in their lives. MY prayers are for the release of the anxiety his illness brought upon him and his family. May his memory be a blessing.
My deepest sympathy to the Garfinkle family, Your thoughtfulness and kindness throughout the years were always greatly appreciated. sincerely your mail carrier Rob.
I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Freddie was such a bright light in this world and a sweet and funny guy, always had a smile on his face! He will be tremendously missed by many. Sending thoughts and prayers to Hilda, his family and friends. RIP.
I've never met Freddy in person, but have known him through the phone for years. I work for Sherwin customer service and he's been one of my reps since I started in this group almost 10 years ago. From day 1 he had me laughing with his prank calls to me...talking in different accents pretending his paint was bad LOL! He will be SO missed by all of us here in CS and my heart goes out to his family and close friends at this time. If I am missing him this much already, I can only imagine what all of you are going through <3 Alison
I worked with Fred at various times throughout 20+ years- a true professional and gentlemen in the industry. My sincere & deepest condolences to his family- he will be missed.
Many fond memories of a dear friend. My brother from another mother. Meeting in our teens through our mutual love of cars to working in the same industry as adults. Our friendship grew as did our families, now the 3rd generation is forming their bond. I will miss our daily phone calls and the many good times. Rest easy my friend. You will be greatly missed.
While my relationship with Fred was new and brief, I knew right away he was a special soul with a big heart and a wonderful personality. My memories of Fred will live on and my thoughts and prayers go out to Hilda and the family. Peace.
