Condolences
My deepest condolences. This is a shock to me. I knew Dawn when she was the manager of Dunkin’ Donuts in cream ridge. She always welcomed me with a smile and a cheery “Hi Al” every morning. She will be missed dearly.
Went to Granny grill and dawns smile was contagious such a kind hearted person. May you RIP. So sorry for your loss. She will be greatly missed
Our sincere condolences to Dawn's family & friends. I first met Dawn & Ken when they came in to the township office seeking permits for Granny's Grill. Because of her warm personality, we hit it off immediately. Soon we were exchanging phone #'s and quickly became friends. I enjoyed talking about recipes with Dawn and she encouraged me so much. I would bring her samples of soup I made. She loved my creamy tomato soup so much she asked for my recipe and featured it at her restaurant. I was honored. Dawn was so sweet and thoughtful too. She took an immediate liking to my son and she was always so very kind to him when he stopped by. I will never forget those last few days before she closed the restaurant. She grabbed me and told me she would keep an eye on my college bound son. She said I have nothing to worry about (we left NJ for FL.) she would be Aunt Dawn to him and a second Mother. She said she would feed him & if he needed a place to stay she would let him stay on her couch. As a Mom to Mom situation, I was in tears. The level of comfort & love she gave to my family was unapparelled. Rest in peace my friend Dawn. May your beautiful memory live on with those who loved you. You will stay in our hearts forever.

Dawn and I became immediate friends when we met at Granny’s right after they opened. We shared so many commonalities and we enjoyed each other very much. I also got to see how many other people felt the same way about her. She was a gift to so many people and we will miss her forever. God bless you Ken and Louie and all who loved her. Dawn will be missed by so many.
