Condolences
I am so sorry I found this obituary so long after Mike’s passing. I was in the Coast Guard Reserve with Mike in the 1980’s. Mike was my section leader and most importantly, my friend. He mentored me and others there. He was such a kind, thoughtful and funny guy. We had many great weekends and laughs together over the years. My sincerest condolences to your family for Mike who was an awesome human and cherished friend.
Farewell and Rest In Peace dear Mike. You will be Missed. Together during my time with you and Marie; You were the dearest, sweetest gentleman and could hand out the antics as quickly as I gave em to you with Care, Laughter and Hope..I wont forget one of the first visits; while we walked to the Living Room; you actually turned into Alexa to request music; and some nice tunes came out and we swung a little. You could tell that you tried having strength hanging in and listening to all the good advice as much as possible to all those that were there to help in your journey; as much as possible, It was an honor to help. .My Deepest Condolences and Sympathy and Prayers; Marie and Family.
Chris and I are deeply saddened to learn of your loss. We are remembering the many happy times that we shared in Brooklyn, LI, Sherman, camping, and Woodloch with Mike and Marie and all the McGarrys. We will keep you in our prayers. Love, Chris and Grace
