Condolences
I will miss Lester. My family is very heartbroken. I use to stop and talk with him every time I drove by is house. He use to send us letters keeping us posted on on all his licenses he achieved. We would love his waves when we would see him out. My prayers are with his family. God rest your soul Lester. You will be missed greatly. Rip
We will miss seeing Mr. Matthews on our walks with our dog. He would always be out on Academy Street to offer a greeting and tell us how nice our dog was. He seemed to be a very sweet man. Condolences to his family.
I met Lester at Collingswood Auction. He so enjoyed walking around the market. He was a staple and loved by all. We became friends and when he could no longer visit the market we became pen pals. He would write letters about his acknowledgments, his struggles, his injuries from the war as well as others. He was brilliant and always gave me advice that I treasured. I saw him at the market after several years about a month ago and he looked great. I will miss his wisdom. My prayers for Lester and his family.

Lester always had a smile and a wave walking up and down Academy Street. He was our neighborhood "watch."
Lester would be there for help, advice, and conversation. He will definitely be missed.

Always stopped to talk with him on my way to my home in Farmingdale. A gentle gentleman. R.I.P.
