Sending love to your family. Aunt Dot (my grandmother Pearl was her sister) was always someone I looked forward to visiting or seeing. I remember transcribing her jokes as an early teen because she was cracking me up so much. I'm grateful for the memories shared together and hope your families have peace as you process this loss.

Our heartfelt sympathy and prayers are with you, Bonnie and Allen, Dawn and Rob, Jenn and Patrick, Kayla, Hannah and Joey. Aunt Dot was blessed to always be surrounded by her loving family and especially during her lengthy battle with cancer. We have many great memories and lots of laughter to remember her by. Her jokes will live on through other family members. I know my mom, Pearl De Bow, Dot’s loving sister, is feeling her loss. Going from being one of 15 siblings to now being the last one has to be a lonely feeling. Mom is so blessed and thankful she had many conversations with her sister over the last several months. Thank you so much Bonnie for making that happen. There is one big celebration happening in Heaven and we’re sure Aunt Dot was greeted with open arms and hearts. Aunt Dot will be missed and will forever hold a special place in all of our hearts. The memories of Aunt Dot will be there for decades to come. Even though the Roe family was known for humor, she had a lot of guts to expose some of that humor. In a way, I wish I lived in that time frame so I could have heard most of her jokes. Aunt Dot can now share the jokes I told her with the other family members who are no longer with us and she can finally Rest in Peace.
