Condolences
My condolences to Joe's family. I found out about this too late and am really sorry.I went with Joe on four trips to San Fraancisco,California. Was a fellow postal worker and basically a friend of his for over 20 years.Rest in peace Joe. Your friend Mike.
Joe was a loyal friend and treasured his family. May we all find strength in the face of this loss. Thank you for the wonderful memorial video. RIP beloved soul, my sweet Joey-beautiful!
My condolences to Joe's family, and to those who knew Joe, for to know him was to know a man that was kind, soft spoken, intelligent, honest, hardworking, loving, funny, and a true defending champion of canines.
I remember one morning he called work to state that he would be late, due to his witnessing of a dog being struck by a car; and that he was taking her to the vet.
Under the threat of losing his job, Joe's response was; "I can get another job, do what you have to do!"
Well, he didn't lose his job, for even the supervisor knew what a caring and honest man Joe was!
I thank you Joe for the impact that you brought to this world and to my life; you are truly missed, but never will you be forgotten.
I now write to you what you wrote to me when you "shyly" autographed your work entitled : I WAS NEVER COOL
" My friend, brother, and cohort in the many adventures of a mad world ------ yes indeed!'
NEVER WAS A TITLE SO UNFITTING ! Rest In Peace my brother
