Obituary of Joseph Musso Jr.

Joseph Musso, Jr., 57, of Laurence Harbor passed away at home on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.  He was born in Neptune, raised and had lived in Farmingdale, and also lived in Bradley Beach and Avon before settling in Laurence Harbor in 2019.  Joe worked as a letter carrier for the Englishtown-Manalapan Post Office.  Known by many as Uncle Joe, he was a genuinely good guy and an intellectual who enjoyed reading and writing, especially poetry.  He was a sports fan who rooted for the Devils and Cowboys, and was an animal lover, mostly dogs.

Joe was predeceased by his father, Joseph Musso, Sr. in 2006; his mother, Alice Musso in 1994; and his nephew, Richard Silvani, Jr. in 2015.  He is survived by his sisters, Patricia Silvani and her husband, Richard of Farmingdale, and Susan Silva and her husband, Edmund of Riverside, RI; nephews, Michael Silvani and his wife, Melissa of Farmingdale and Ryan Silvani and his fiancée, Casandra Conway of Farmingdale; and his great niece, Madison.
