Condolences
Dear Ann, Jennifer and Family -
I am so sad to hear about Bill's passing. I just found out the other day. I have been at Wakefern 34 years and Bill was in our building in Elizabeth for many years and I had the pleasure of working with him. He was a true gentleman and wonderful man.
May Bill Rest in Peace always!
Fondly,
Josephine Barone
Ann, Jennifer,
I am so sorry for your loss. Bill was my first boss at A&P when I started in 1979, right out of college working for Harry Conway. He was one of the brightest people I have ever worked with, supportive, a good teacher and we all had some fun at the same time. I was fortunate enough to keep in touch with him over the years after he went to Wakefern and enjoyed running into him. His daughter was always the first topic and he never stopped bragging! He will be missed, he was a good man. May he rest in peace.
Bill was the best boss-roll model, he will be missed and thought of often. RIP Boss.
Dear Ann and Jennifer, My sincere condolences for the loss of Bill. I worked for him a long time, what a wonderful man. My thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time. May he Rest In Peace.
Dear Ann and Jennifer,
I'm so sorry to learn of Bill's passing. My condolences to you and the entire family.
I first meet Bill working in the A&P Newark office in 1968. later I had the pleasure to work for and with him for over 20 years
in Paterson and Montvale. in Paterson, I remember the day he announced the birth of his new daughter, a very proud Father.
Bill was a Good man that was always helpful and supportive, a good mentor and boss. Although it's been a long time since we work together, mutual friends in the industry would keep us in touch over the years.
Ann / Jennifer......may the happy memories comfort both of you during these difficult days. God bless All. RIP Bill.
Bill was a wonderful man and a good friend. We always enjoyed our fun times with him and Ann over the years at gatherings, dinners, concerts, and most of all, our fond memories of Friday night pizza playing dominos at each other's houses. Oh, how we enjoyed my homemade cosmopolitan recipe and occasional singing and dancing to our oldies' music! Whenever we think of him, we will always treasure those fun times. Rest in peace, dear friend; we will miss you very much. Kathy and Pat.
We’ve spent many wonderful times together with Bill, Ann, Jen and now with Shealyn. Many laughs for over 35 years. Thank you. You have our heart felt condolences. We love You and the entire family.. Bill is dearly missed.
An admirable man, so precise and driven. He held on as long as he could, no doubt for his Ann & Jen. I will remember him standing tall and strong. May quiet times fill you with warm memories always.
Dear Ann and Jennifer, We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Billy. He was a wonderful person and I'm sure he touched the hearts of many. We have been praying for Billy and you both. His job here on Earth is done and the lord called him to Heaven to be by his side. He has made his journey to the gates of Heaven where he is now with his Dad and Mom once again. He will be watching over Ann and Jennifer and keeping you safe in his arms. We will continue with our prayers for Billy and all of his family and friends. He is now free of any pain and suffering and will be at peace. Our condolences to all, Karen and Joseph Leo
We have many wonderful memories of being Ann, Bill and Jen’s neighbors for several years in the 1990s. We built a home next door, in part, while we were still living in Western New York. Bill was kind enough to call us whenever he thought the builder wasn’t doing something right on the construction. He was invariably correct. We quickly became good friends and their relationship with our young daughter was especially kind and sweet. Being new to the neighborhood this was very meaningful to us all. We will never forget them! Our deepest sympathies to Ann and Jen.
I am very sad for the Crombie family. The first time I met Bill he was so enthusiastic to introduce me to his daughter. It was so clear he was crazy about his Jen.
Years later we went to dinner and he expressed his affinity for his daughter in law. With our few interactions, everytime it was evident he & Ann were a team. All the people I've acknowledged are beautiful and colored Bill's life with happiness and love. Likewise, he too was a caring, intelligent pillar to them. Again, I'm sorry for your loss and he would never leave you, he just physically isn't here. #Henry & Harrison
Dear Ann and Jennifer, we are so deeply saddened by the loss of Bill. He was the best boss, a great mentor, and a wonderful friend. Our thoughts are with you, and want you to know that Bill will remain forever in our hearts. Karen and Joe Gozzi
