Condolences
Someone once said Wes and Barb were the "picture of grace" at Ardenia Baptist. Wes asked me to join the choir a few weeks after I started to attend Ardena and kept me in tune for probably 20 years.
We became dear friends between the choir and bagel hour which became known as the 2:30 club as that was when we finally stopped sharing stories and drinking coffee.
In the past year she was keeping the bagel hour alive as she loved the fellowship it provided. They were great friends and she always had a smile and a hug for me!
Now they're back together again.

Condolences to the Johnson family at Mrs. Barbara's passing. My Mom, Dad and I enjoyed singing with Barbara and Wes each year when we would join the choir in singing the Christmas Contatas. Barbara always was quick with her warm smile and great hugs! She is truly a joy and will be greatly missed.

In 2008, we lost my Dad!
I see a handsome older couple enter the Funeral Home.
My mind raced to place them.
Then this lovely lady smiled and I immediately recognized our loved Barbara Johnson.
My heart swelled and I could not get to her fast enough to get a long overdue hug.
I had not seen the Johnson's in many years.
This family Matriarch and I, have kept in touch by phone this last year.
Her smiles always making their way through to me.
I shall miss my friend!
I shall miss this wonderful follower of Christ!
I shall miss this woman of God!
She and her husband Wes, long ago, touched my life greatly.

Should I not see Mrs. Johnson again for 100, 000,000,000,000 years - and then spot her from afar - her brilliant, authentic and loving smile will again have me running for another long overfue hug.
She brought Glory to Jesus Christ, so we know that her Memory shall be Eternal!
Selfishly, I miss you already Mrs. Johnson!
