Ellen was an amazing, kind, warm person who always made it her priority to make you feel welcomed. She was like a second mother to me growing up, always offering words of guidance and support during times of difficulty and enthusiasm and elation when celebration or encouragement were in order. From Avenel to Howell, Ellen has always been an important part of my life and will continue to be as I cherish memories of her love and light.
Sending the deepest condolences to Jake and Hayley and wishing you strength and peace during this most difficult time. Your mother loved you both very much and will be watching over you, always.
Ellen and Jim Rauh were our friendly neighbors from the day Barbara and I moved to our new home in 1998. Ellen was such a down-to-earth woman, we were comfortable with her from the moment we met. Ellen and Jim raised two great kids, Jake and Hayley, who became friends with our kids. Jim could never do enough to help and the same was true of Ellen. Her kind soul, her great sense of humor, her warm personality all made Ellen not only a great neighbor but a great friend as well.
Ellen will be dearly missed but she will never be forgotten. May she rest in peace and forever keep watch over Jake and Hayley.
