Condolences
So sorry I missed Bob's services. I want to offer my condolences to Diana and the rest of his family. I have worked with Bob at Wakefern and he was truly a great person. He was a caring and compassionate person both in the office and out. He loved his family dearly, and talked about them all the time. Rest in Peace Bob, you will be greatly missed.....

Dear Diana and Family,
I am happy to have served with Bob on the Parish Pastoral Council. He often added a story or bit of wisdom to our monthly meetings. All our members just loved Bob and his calm peaceful presence.
May he rest in God's embrace,
Gail Kohan
Dear Diana and Family,
I am so very sorry that distance prevented Keith and I from attending Bob's services and mass. You, Bob, and family have always had, and still have, a very special place in our hearts. Bob's obituary was so true to the person I have known him to be....a true family man in every way and a devout, sincere Christian. I am certain that Our Lord has prepared a very special place with Him in heaven. Please accept our sincere condolences and know that all of you are in our prayers.
Love,
Arlene
Dearest Diana and Family,
We are so very sorry for your loss. Bob was a pure joy to know during the many years we have known you two, through Della and Joe. You all will be in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Corinne & John Ribera
As the obituary notes, Bob was a member of the Knights of Columbus – in the Reverend Mitchell J. Cetkowski Council, No. 6201 (also known as the Howell–Jackson Council of the KofC), which was founded on Feb. 28, 1970. He served as the council’s sixth Grand Knight, leading the council from July 1, 1975, through June 30, 1976.
The obituary also says that “the role [Bob] treasured the most was as Grandpop.” As each grandchild went off to college, Grandpop acquired a ballcap. One story I have heard is that at a family event celebrating one of Grandpop’s milestones, he proudly “doffed” his hat to each grandchild in turn, by wearing each ballcap for about a half-hour or so and then switching to the next grandchild’s hat. Talk about wisdom, dedication, and love .... That’s the kind of person our brother Bob was ... for his family ... and for everyone, including his friends.
Requiescat in pace.
I am so sorry for your loss Diana. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
