Soon after Lillian and I started getting serious about each other, we were eating at a Chinese restaurant. I don't remember if it was she or I that got a fortune that read: "She is the guiding star of your existence." Lillian kept that fortune and reminded me of it from time to time.

Indeed, Lil WAS the guiding star of my existence... every day and in every way of my life. All the good that is in me and all that I have accomplished in life that actually matters, is the result of the love with which she guided me -- and the two of us - through life.

Now I have to look towards heaven to see my North Star till we are once again side-by-side!
