Obituary of Lillian DiPiazza
Lillian DiPiazza, 77, of Freehold passed away at Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia on Thursday, May 9, 2024. She was born and raised in Jersey City and had lived in Old Bridge before settling in Freehold in 1996. Lillian was a beloved manager at Nathan Lewis Associates, where she was known for her dedication and hard work. One of Lillian's greatest accomplishments was her unwavering support for our veterans, as she tirelessly sent care packages to those serving during the first Iraqi war. She was also a devoted member of Grace Lutheran Church, where she served as Church Council President and was a pillar of strength and kindness within the community. In her free time, Lillian was an active member of the Freehold Township Center Crafters Group, where she shared her love for crafting and creating with others. She had a deep passion for animals, especially her beloved cats, and could often be found caring for and nurturing them with love and affection.
Lillian is predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Anna Szemly and sister and brother in law, Ann and Ralph Villa. She is survived by her husband, Michael DiPiazza of Freehold; sister, Toni Tschampion and her husband, Chuck of Jackson; many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, May 13, 2024, from 10:00 to 12:00 PM with her funeral service to follow.
