Joe what can I say I have a lot of memories that I will share with your family. Like the times you would steal the flowers from that ladies garden and give them to grandma , or the time you saved that little sparrow when it fell from it's nest and nursed it until the birds mother flew in our window . Our family had it share of happy times and tragic ones. But somehow we always over came them because we had each . Rest in peace Joe give everyone a hug for me "Till we meet again",. Your sister maryann
Goodbye old friend .Rest peacefully. Love Sonny.
It seems like yesterday I attended their beautiful wedding with James Campbell. I was always amazed with their love for each other! Rest with the Angels until we all meet again.
This world will be different without our friend Joe. It seems like yesterday he would call us and say he wanted to head "South" which in minutes meant that we would head to Atlantic City together. He told us that 29 years ago he went back to church to pray for us to have a child since we were having difficulties. He was always there for us whenever we needed. It will be strange knowing he is not here anymore. Carol we can not imagine how much you will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the kids. Joe rest in peace and watch over us. We love you.

Growing up I had a paper route with my friend. At that time, my dad worked two jobs and he would not get home till early in the morning on Sunday from his second job. Those Sunday mornings when he got home, he would often have our papers put together, packed in his car, and waited for us to wake up to take us to deliver them. We’d then come home, and he would cook us breakfast. At that time, I did not understand how exhausted he must have been or the meaning behind his actions, but now as an adult I realize he was a dad trying to make more time to be with his daughter. I love him and will always remember moments like those. Thank you Dad.
Joe will be incredibly missed on our block. Loved sitting in the driveway and talking about Brooklyn and life! He was always quick with a joke and made people laugh without even trying! Sending love to Carol, his children and grandchildren and his extended family. May Joe rest with the angels for all eternity.
It was love at first sight when we met as a blind date set up by his cousin. I was just 17 and he was almost 16. We dated for four years and now after 57 years of marriage and all our ups and downs, I still love him. Going to miss you terribly Joe.
