Obituary of Gerald Francis Gorman

Gerald Francis “Jerry” Gorman, 81, of Jackson Township passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024. He was born in Ayer, Massachusetts and raised in Oradell, NJ. He lived in Highland Mills, NY and Manhattan before settling in Jackson. Jerry was a dedicated electrical engineer for Con Edison for close to 40 years, retiring in 2002. He had a natural talent for music, playing both the guitar and piano. Jerry was also a talented artist. He had a passion for mountain climbing and hiking.

He is predeceased by his brother, Michael Gorman. Jerry is survived by his wife, Carole Spina Gorman; son, Robert Gorman and his wife, Yumiko; four grandchildren, Liam, Shane, Brendan and Elise; brother, John Gorman and sister, Patrice Garrison and her husband, Bob.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 1:00 to 4:30 PM with a memorial service to begin at 4:30 PM.
