Condolences
Mr. Griffin was funny, a joker and gentlemen. I will miss your friendship and jokes. I will think of you when I pass the corner of your crossing guard duty and walking the neighborhood. Rest in peace.
I am so sad to hear about Steve. I met him in 1974 at Asbury Parks Napa Store. He was always a gentleman to work with and getting to know him could be quite humorous.
I was working in the store and doing some inventory work and had to climb some shelving to retrieve some parts when I hear a dog growling, of course Steve had warned me about the mean dog out back. I was near the top shelf when the dog got louder and louder. Now I am terrified and white faced, I got down and started running towards the back door when Steve came out behind some boxes, doubled over and laughing like crazy. That right there was Steve. A classy gentleman with the humor that was so funny.
My condolences to the entire family that he loved so much.

He will be missed. I'm glad to have known him
Dad, there won't be a day where my heart doesn't ache for just one more laugh with you. I can't imagine how you could have been a better father. You are perfect. As hard as it is to let you go, you've been through enough with the horrible hand you were dealt and it's time for some rest. Your family loves you more than anyone or anything. Your absence will never feel right, but your memory will never be forgotten. I love you.
