Obituary of Salvatore DiDia
Salvatore DiDia, 54, of Jackson died suddenly on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Glen Ridge and lived in Howell before moving to Jackson. Salvatore was a heavy equipment mechanic for Gardner M. Bishop, White Plains, NY for the past 30 years. He was a member of Teamsters Local # 560 in Union, as well as a member of the Central Jersey Rifle & Pistol Club and Howell Trap Club.
Salvatore is survived by his wife, Dolores DiDia of Jackson; two sons, Salvatore, Jr. and Michael both of Jackson; his daughter, Meghan DiDia of Jackson; his grandson, Salvatore Vincent; one sister, Sharon Iorio of Sandy Hook (Newtown) CT; and one brother, Anthony DiDia of South Toms River.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Monday, May 6, 2013 at 8:30 AM for the procession to his 9:30 AM Funeral Mass at Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell.
